Why trends do not make you less original, and why I love them

If there is a trend flooding over the whole fashion world then you can bet that I will be wearing it. I loved off the shoulders and didn't even knew about it. I'll explain! I have so many of the shoulders shirts that I never wore. I never even wanted to wear them for some reason. But ever since every single blogger I follow has worn it, and I've seen it so many  times, my brain refuses to think of anything else but this special trend. But hey, I ain't even mad. I feel like my whole summer wardrobe is going to be off the shoulders until I find some other trend to be loyal to.
But now back to the real deal. Do trends really make us less original? As a fashion blogger, I seriously can't think of a more important thing than beeing original. But also, as a 'fashion guru' I need to be in the trend and always trying to be first when it comes to them. Sometimes trends get to the point where every girl is wearing the same outfit and you can help but noticing that they all look alike way too much.
The thing with the trend is that you always need to be making sure you give it a bit of your 'touch'. Something that screams you. Yes, we see all the bloggers rocking off the shoulder, but we don't see them wearing the same one, with the same outfit. No matter what you do in life you always need to do it your way. The off the shoulder top you are seeing here is super girly, soft and vintage and that's what I love. But I always make sure I am adding something modern to make the look more interesting. And that's the whole secret.

Please write down bellow your opinion, and what do you think about the trends. Do you stick with them, or do you go your own way? Comment bellow, and I'll see you all very soon!
Kisses!

  1. Great look love! I really like your off-the-shoulder top that you have going on. I don't think there is anything wrong with trends, as long as you don't go overboard with them where you don't know how to be original or make it your own style. Everybody incorporates some sort of trend in their wardrobe no matter how much they deny it, and there is nothing wrong with that. It is really what you do with those pieces that make you stand out. Great write up and lovely outfit!
